    Hi all

Does anyone have any thoughts on or is maybe using the Optisan EVX 10 x44i scope? Looking to use this for HFT comps?

If so what do you think?

Perfect for HFT - stop looking and get it ( unless you like the connect in which case get one of those ... )

Optically excellent in its price range and massively improved from the older generation MTC/Optisan scopes. It is remarkably good in low light and personally I've never seen a clearer reticle in any scope.

The two downsides for HFT for me are the ridiculously big turrets, which get in the way of of the peg and other supports and the fact that I like a bit of blur for ranging, and the EVX doesn't really give any. I went back to my Connect.

I have one and it's very good at the price, in fact nothing else at that price matches it, you need to spend double to start seeing any improvement IMO.

I have an EVX review just about to be published in CompAir and currently have the baby 4-12 x 44 HX here for review, they are excellent scopes and ideally suited to HFT.

Hi All, thanks for the info.....sounds like it would definatley be a good option. I tried the connect but i did not like the short eye relief, just did not feel right.

Think i'll give the Optisan a try!

I have just brought the 4x16x44 optisan F1, it’s an excellent scope for HFT the glass is very clear and it holds zero very well, it’s improved my ranging
