Springfield ARC is holding an open day on June 20th. We hope attract those who are new to air rifle/pistol shooting and/or those who are experienced who have not yet subscribed to club life before. At Springfield we have both FT & HFT lane sets up to 40+ targets plus covered/seated plinking range, open plinking range to practise all disciplines, pistol range and zero lane & WC facilities for both gents & ladies. On the day we welcome all by holding an open chat on gun safety at the club,a Q&A session on all things shooting, getting the best from your gun, and zeroing. We will also hold a mini competition where you can either take part or observe both in HFT & FT style where you will be given your own mentor to help you through the comp. A chance to watch how more experienced shooters do it with the World Junior Champ at hand + four AA shooters. We also hope members from our other local clubs will also come and participate & help. We will also have refreshments (tea, coffee, coke, orange, crisps, choc biscuits), but you might want to bring sandwiches for the full day event, which is from 10am to 4pm. Our location is in Essex, just off the A414 before you reach Chelmsford; but we would really like you to contact us first so we can asses numbers and to give you exact post code and Google earth map fix.
