Nikko Diamond 10-50x60 Mk3 Mildot
Falcon 16x with a custom rangefinding reticule.
Thought I'd come back to this. Sold the Leup Comp and bought Sightron SIII, one is the FT and the other LR. The FT ranges down to 10 yards and the LR 11 yards. Swapped to the Sightrons as SWEFTA rules allow for FT scopes in HFT with the mag turned down. The FT is on my Steyr Challenge and the LR on my 97K. Doing ok with both.
Sightron SIII 10-50X60 LRIRMH with cam side wheel and Zoom leaver, Rowan shade instead of sightron which is heavy.
Dave appreciates the Leup Bob, he's doing really well with it...
Kahles 1050i FT with Jon Harris wheel. No temp shift. Great for left handed folk.
Falcon T50FT with S.N. 8
No difference of distance measuring with BigNikko.
Oggi, the Falcon T50 is ok, the Nikko is ok, the Falcon x50 is another class, for us shooters on a budget.
‘Big Nikko’ mk3 Mildot with 125mm rowan sidewheel.
Prior to this I tried an MTC Viper Pro 5-30x50 with SCB2 ret. I really liked the ret on this but struggled with parallaxing ranges as there was too much slack in the focus wheel.
Ah, the scope I had to fit 2 Sun shades onto (at approx £60 each) just to stop it whiting out !!!!!!!!! The only good thing being as said, easier for L/Handed shooters.
Lost a lot of money on that scope would never buy another one.
Leupold & Stevens - L&S Inc. ULTRA M1A 20X boosted to 40X by Premier Reticles.
30mm tube on a 40mm front lens.
Delta Stryker 5-50x56 ... very happy with it, no movement in temp either with the mini heatwave we are experiencing , set up in 12 degree temp.
I’m planning on putting together a new rig, so thinking about the sightron s3. A few people at the club recommended and had all good things to say about the scope.
I use Sightron SIII 10-50X60.
What’s the glass like on the s3 for clarity.
I think it is very good. I used a Falcon T50 before.
I used a Nikko Targetmaster which seemed to agree with my old FTP900.
I'm just starting out but I got a mil dot hawke hd 6-24x50 but looking to upgrade soon to a falcon x50 had a look through one at the range and it's so much clearer just need to sweet talk the Mrs, wish me luck
Falcon X50FT and I am very happy with it.
It was a toss-up between the new Falcon x50 and the Big Nikko. I've gone with the Big Nikko as is has a long-standing reputation behind it despite the X50 getting an initial thumbs up in the sport.
