Our Annual Open 50 Target FT event is again at Weston Woods.

Full details on our website here.

Will there be targets up the Tower again? Did we leave TimG up there since last year and he has been fighting the squirrels for nuts? That depends on the state of the brambles - last year they almost won! The brambles that is

Come along and find out! :D

    Wrong weekend for me

Pity it clashes with Portcullis ( and Essex) open.

Gutted really wanted to make this as Weston Woods is a great ground.

But I have damaged my back this week and can t sit in an FT style position for very long at all.

Need to try and get sorted for the Euro's.

Hope you have a cracking shoot. :)

oh dear - sorry to ear that Justin. Back pain is awful!

Looks like Weston Woods could be fun as there is some wind forecast. Should be challenging given the variety of lanes we can put out (tunnels in scrub, through trees, across water (tower maybe - will know Saturday if we can get the strings across and up over the brambles ), out in the open, wind swirling hahahaha. We aim to make it fun and good for all standards.

    take it easy!

    Cheers

Hmmm - "exclusive use" wasn't what we found. Clay Shoot going on this morning so we couldn't use any sections in front of them (looked like stag group, quite sober but inexperienced). So we have set out additional lanes in an entirely new area - no home advantage there!.

Should be fun and new directions+wind.

    Cheers

Many thanks to all that came along. Wind was predictably the winner but unpredictable quite often. No rain and the sun came out.
    Results are up here

I enjoyed the company of Rob (Stringkiller) Montani and by the end of the course I was happy to just get back and relax.

Many thanks to all those who helped set out the course yesterday and pull it back in today.

    Cheers

    great shoot

Just want to thank the Oxford guy's for today's chance to shoot Weston Woods again. Just as tricky as I remember it, but happy with a 35.

    Delayed action for men

Many thanks to North Oxon for putting out a really enjoyable course, something for everyone. And thanks for Neil 'delayed action' for putting up with me. Hitting the centre is definitely for losers, real men bounce it in. And then they wait for a while.

Sorry I broke your target but if you are going to write the range on them what do you expect. Target number 41 was not 41 yards, it was 12. :p

    Monty

PS I still had to build the shed when I got home
