Bracket nitemare versus Course setter dream

    Hi all

C'mon then what clubs now use ' non standard ' knockover targets for comps ? We have a couple of frightening ones at Horsham ( you will see on sunday ) but are all clubs adopting the 'special ' donut makers or using standard knockovers ?

    many thanks

    Dave

We have a couple of modified ones at Meon:) the favourite being a 1/2 scale rat which when set in the open is a bitch to rangefind and catches a lot of people out, i love the puzzled looks on peoples faces as they sail straight over the back of that apparent 45yder...thats only really 35yds....:D:D

There used to be a hedgehog shaped one athe old Nomads club and I think Newbury might have it now. The spines went virtually to the kill. Unless you saw the hit on what was left of the face plate or kill it was just a guess. Usually put out at 55yds on a FT course.

However the last time I shot at it it was a few yards closer.

My thoughts exactly Mark - a normal looking target ;) would fool more than a standard knockdown with a design stuck over the top ! ........... you nasty man .
