A beautiful sunny day with seemingly little in the way of wind hinted at big scores today but, as many have discovered in the past, Berrow Hill doesn t need much wind to ease pellets away from kill zones. The course was half out in the open, half in the ‘shelter of the woods, not that the wind was bothered by a few trees.

Tony Male top scored with an excellent 56 on a challenging course, top springer was Stew Powell with 50, one point ahead of Perry Broad, who recovered well after a shaky start.

Thanks to the course setters who did such a great job, and thanks to everyone who helped pull targets in afterwards.

    Tony Male 56
    Graham Cole 51
    Stew Powell 50 (Recoiling)
    John Holder 50
    Perry Broad 49 (Recoiling)
    Mick Boswell 46
    Lee Malpass 44
    Marc Trumper 41 (Recoiling)
    Matt Lee 41
    Tom Crump 40 (Recoiling)
    Tomasz Gnas 39

Sorry I missed out on today's shoot. Torn between a poorly 3-ear-old and a poorly dad :(

    Thanks mick,

well done to Mick, Perry and Ian for a great course.

The targets in the woods was what lost me (and a few others) points, air was cold and although appeared to be light wind it could easily shift the pellet an inch or so.

Also, not saying that graham needs to slow down on the vaping but two of the targets I dinked I am sure a 'fog' drifted in front of my scope as I took the shot*

    good shooting with you bud

Good to see Tomasz at his first hft shoot, onwards and upwards mate.
