Hi. Funny world we live in. I noticed in one of the magazines that Glasgow
Field Sports are selling Air Arms fall flat targets (yuk) for ~~39.99
presumably plus postage. I aquired an Italian Advance field target which
said it could be adjusted for all situations. ( Usually means they have not
got it quite right.) It has similar mechanism to the Air Arms but if you fit
the adjusting screw it will not reset! At the other end of the scale if you
go onto Ebay and type "Targets" you get seversl thousand responses. Amongst
them are many Chinese produced targets at prices which vary according to the
    seller.

I like Ebay. I have bought and sold many items from swing doors to bicycles.
Recently I bought a 1952 PowerPak cyclemotor and I am refurbishing it.
Takes me back to my mis-spent youth. Three years ago I bought a SEGWAY self
balancing people mover. Aways wanted one. Look on youtube if you dont know
what they are. New they cost over ~~5000. Mine was second hand and I sold
it last month for ~~78 more than I bought it for.

I told you last time that I was downsizing, well a sudden upsurge in
business has brought the time much closer than I thought as certain items
have sold quickly. I am discontinueing the Resetting Bird, Resetting Disc,
Resetting disc with spinners and the Double Turkey Top. They all share the
same main frame. The resetting bird was the original shoot down - shoot up
target that that I invented nearly 20 years ago. All others are variations
of that reset mechanism. I will have spares for anyone who has one of
these. The next to go will be the versions on spikes but I have a
reasonable stock of parts for a while.

One of the new airgun magazines is running an article on Nockover but I dont
know what it will say. I have just sent them some photos, I hope they do not
promote the items I am stopping! Derek Peckover

Phew! We're safe at last! There's nothing more un-nerving than going round to Dereks and being asked "have you had a go on my Segway?"
His lawn isn't very long and the rockery looks pretty big when you're hurtling towards it!:D
I was never very good on a skate board either........

No doubt see you sometime soon Derek.;)
