I'm sorry to see there are no manufacturers teams in 2012. It was the highlight of my 2011 UKAHFT season to pick up one at Cambridge and Quarry. It seems only two teams submitted scores at all comps. These, I guess, were Daystate and Steyr .

Sorry to see it go, gave you something to look forward to if you weren't among the top 5 shots.

    Hi Rog,

The only teams to consistently submit scores were Steyr & Walther, for the last two years we've had to badger team captains for scores & change captains in an attempt to get them.

It has to be said that Vince Blackman always submitted his scores on time, it's just a shame others couldn't do the same.

Ooops, should have figured it was Walther:eek:

Yeah, Vinny was on the ball allright. They were nice trophies and well worth winning.

Thanks anyway for the chance to win something at a UK event:D

A great pity but at least UKAHFT tried.

Perhaps other manufacturers thought they were outclassed anyway :D

The thing is also Steyr & Walther never gave anything to the sport yet get the headlines.

True! Even Rolex sponsor stuff, and I'm sure they don't need to:D

Steyr and Walther just sit back and bask in the glorious rays of victory:cool:

As Pete D said the main reason was lack of scores being submitted, but I don't think it's fair that we get support from nearly all the UK manufacturers but not from the ones who benefit from the manufacturers event.
