I'll post this on here as ive had a couple of people from the weekend message asking what's happening. So what we have ladies and gents.....
    Northern Monkey BASC/BSA shoot.

    Sunday April 7th . 10am, 10.30am safety brief.

Our next shoot is the BASC/BSA shoot on April 7th.
We have a main HFT comp and two further side comps.

    1. A full hft course set to Masters rules. This will be handicapped (+2pts for recoil, +2 for.22 and +3 for 11-14yr olds) to enable equal chance for each class to win the first prize of a BSA tactical gun slip & 12 month subscription to Airgun shooter.
The winner of the HFT goes into a draw at the end of the year to win a brand new BSA ULTRA SE Multi shot rifle. At present only about a dozen clubs are running this, so favourable odds indeed

    2. There will be a long range comp with first prize of a BSA rifle scope & 6 month subscription to Airgun shooter.
This will be held on the range and consist of 5 shots to a benchrest type card. Top score wins. Shoot it any way, from a bench, prone, bipod, freestanding, whatever suits. The distance will be announced on the day obviously weather dependent. Probably looking at 45 yards. The range does go to 100 yards though.......

    3. There will be the "hide n seek" comp. A time limit to shoot a mystery target or targets placed within sight of a peg. First prize of a BSA knockdown target & 6month subscription to Airgun shooter.

    4. Finally there will be scorcard draw for a quality BASC multi tool.
We will be adding various prizes to this of manufacturer branded caps, tee shirts, pellets pouches sort of thing.

With this being the first of the BASC/BSA/AIRGUN SHOOTER sponsored shoots of the year Airgun Shooter magazine will be writing a feature on it so don't forget to iron your camo, spruce up the gortex, polish your blingy bits and bring your best smile. If the recoiling shooters can make the effort to at least not wear odd shoes that will be enough tidying up from them thanks :D

Look forward to seeing you all there

Will he again be knocking down the ones you miss? I'm sure he never mentioned that on the way home last time :p

Pete he still mentions it now. Yep I'm damn sure he'll hit the ones I miss.

Probably also hit the ones I hit.

In fact I bet he'll kick my rear. Especially on the long range shoot.

Sunny intervals with very light winds. Great for smiling shooters, not so great for grumpy course setters!
I might have to use the Emley Moor witches voodoo doll that Daz is bringing along :p

    You're welcome to it.
It's kind of strange how it's holding a steering wheel as if driving?
I will use this as evidence that the VooDooHooDoo made me drive fast to save her.

The peek a boo shoot what a laugh. Shot my first then spent 50 secs trying to find the other two. Where were they.

I’ll have nightmares on that one.

Good balance course today something for everyone. Well done.
