Just been offered a Nikko Diamond 10-50x60, chuffed I was. Until I found out it has a NATO Ret.

My question is, is the NATO ret ok for ft use or should I hold out for a Midlot?

    Ta.

It's a very good ret, spacings are useful.

I use the NATO one and its my preference over the mil dot version. The verticule lines on the horizontal make it easier to guess the windage in my eyes and the other lines work out well for the 15yd and closer targets at either 25 (15-10yds) or 15 (10-7yds) times magnification

Happy days then. Looks like I stumbled into the correct one then.
Left to my own devices I would have got one with the mil dot, habit I suppose.

This year the local clubs, next year the world champs :shot:

What Neil means is Simon, that having shot with me at Bisley, and knowing that I'll be there, there really is no point in Corvids making the trip. :D :D :D

    BTW
What is a NATO reticle please ?
