hi to all I’m new to the Forum and have never been part of one before!
I am based in Deal Kent and I have joined Whitfield air gun club, but have still to get up there for a session of targeting!
I’m not new to shooting have been around guns most of my life, my father was a game keeper when I was young and then we moved to Scotland and had hundreds of thousands of acres of shooting land we could use ! Also a short stint in the military. Having used many different weapons through my life but of all of them I have always had the most enjoyment from air guns.
I’m just getting back into the spot after a few years of struggling with PTSD still got a long way to go but in a much better place now.
Looking forward to learning and helping where I can thanks
    Matt

Hi Matt, Welcome to the forum, sure you will enjoy it the more you get involved. Just like airguns its addictive.
At some time you should join us at Kent Woodsmen in Hamstreet which is close to Ashford and not too far from Deal.
Both FT and HFT are shot with a full course of targets laid out each week along with a good plinking range and some
very nice and friendly shooters,I feel sure you would enjoy yourself and make some good friends. No charge for your first
    visit,tea and coffee are free.
What guns do you shoot with and other than paper targets do you have any plans to shoot FT or HFT. Either way
have fun and enjoy your shooting.

    Good luck
    Terry

Thank you for the invite Terry I will have to come over definitely ! I like the idea and was thinking about trying HFT
Though it does take me a while to build up the courage to go new places it’s just one of the many affects of the ptsd

Matthew, I can assure you that you'll get a friendly welcome at Kent Woodsmen. I've been going for nearly a year now and I was made welcome from the moment I walked through the gate. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. It's a lovely way to spend a few hours on a Sunday morning.
