Hi Simon, thanks for the warm welcome. Yes I'm right handed, but appreciate the offer of a go on your lefty. Would be great to have a look at the setup you're running! Please say hi when you next see me down there :)

    That's unfair!! It's only a van...a big one, mind....

Seriously Martin, try before you buy, don't rush into it and you'll enjoy it a lot more. If you can get down there a little earlier -11ish - we'll drag you round the course and you can see what it's about. Saturday's going to be a "fun" day windwise, so none of us will be expecting much....except Nathan, if he's there .... but it'll give you a chance to try the different ft setups and see what the fuss is all about.

    See you Saturday......

    Hi Martin.

I tell you what. I have a second Steyr setup.

I will put the right hand grip on it (I’m left handed too) and set it up with the spare Bushnell scope I have.

you can try it out and shoot the FT round with me on Saturday with it.

it will help give you and idea.

I have a spare cushion, etc as well.

Make sure you get there earlier. 9ish if possible. That way I can tale you through the gun setup.

If STB had been around when I started to shoot FT I may not have made so many foolish and expensive equipment mistakes. Good luck with your new kit Martin and remember that everyone who has posted on here has been through exactly what you are going through now. Enjoy it all!

Simon, I came across this plate for sale on free ads earlier whilst having a nose around, and thought you might pick up an early valentine's present to yourself lol!
