Looks good Dave, there isn't red paint under the black is there? That stock looks familiar.

    Nice

Cracking looking gun Dave. See you've got the BSA swf on it, how do you find it. Got one myself and used it for the first time on Sunday. I think for the price it's a good scope, found if you don't get your head aligned properly though it suffers parallax error (used at 10x mag and 25 yard). Prefer it to the viper though as it's less cluttered.

    Hi Dave,

Rifle looks good, but does this mean that you're not our Capitano any more for the UK rounds?

Cheers guys....to answer all the questions in one post:
I had no choice but to change Rubi....need the cash mate, the 400 came cheap and now after a bit of tlc on the 400 I can sell the Ranger ;)This in no way means that I have gone off Daystate,I still love their rifles it's just that I can't afford one at the minute. When things turn around though I intend buying another.
I'm afraid this does now mean that I am no longer Daystate captain Dave.I've spoken to Sparky and another captain will be announced;)
Same as you Imorak...for the money I think that they are a very good mid range scope. Not as good as some admitted but better than some much more expensive glass that I've looked through and better than almost everything else in that price bracket.
    Great minds think alike Ian:D
No red Ryan and thankfully no yellow either or Mick no doubt would have started with the giant banana jokes:):D
I just love your big knob Glynn:D:D:D;)
