I suspect its the same scope, but Uttings call it the ED Sniper, Look on Nikko Sterling section its on page 2 about 1/2 way down.

Looks interesting. Comes with sunshade and end caps for less money than the "standard" Nikko we've all been using. Also has a complicated ret. for FT use... With those extra bits, it's more of an HFT ret. They must have saved money on the glass, wonder how different it is?

Some of these don't mention ED glass in the blurb so would suspect that although the glass has various coatings the glass itself is a lower quality.
Worth a punt though. Buy on the internet and get 7 days to carefully try it out. Distance selling laws are great

That's so far what I found about the Hornet:

    NikkoStirling.png

Looks like it is a china made Chinese ED glass diamond sportsman. I wonder how much it differ optically from the "original"
Otherwise the diamond sportsman HMD IR is the closest match

Someone something? I really "want to believe" that the hornet is at least as good as the diamond sportsman but my intuition tells me it's not..

Simply someone has to buy it and try it.
My vote is for Steve as he needs a new scope for his Daystate anyways....;)
