    Afternoon all,

Just browsing around t'interweb (stuck with killer-death-deadly-man-flu) and I see that Ripley have brought out a new rifle.

When I saw Steve to pick up my XL9 he showed me some pictures of this, I got the impression it was a bit of a one-off, but it seems that Steve is going to produce a few of them.

I must say that it's not to my taste, I'm too old-fashioned for the tactical style of thing. But I hope that they sell and that it's successful.

    AR9T Limited Edition PCP Rifle.

It's certainly ...... different! Nice to see Steve developing new concepts though - aiming for a new/different set of customers?

Not to my liking either, prefer Steves AR range of rifles.

The members of another well known airgun forum weren't nearly so polite  I know it's all in the eye of the beholder, but to my eye, that is one plug-ugly lump of plumbing and plastic, and I'm someone who quite likes the look of Steyrs! However, good luck to Steve, and if it floats your boat.....

It's good to see people trying different things and offering alternatives to the big manufacturers, I won't be parting with my money on this one, but wish him well and good luck in future projects.

The worst thing about it is the price. Not sure why it’s £1650 MORE than a ar5. Realistically a £1650 price tag would be more appropriate

And you think a P15 is ugly.
Looks like a steampunk creation from Whitby

The AR5s in a lovely walnut stock is a thing of beauty while the AR9T in my opinion is not.

.....given that there are "self-indexing" semi-autos out there now, it's a shame Steve doesn't re-launch the Predator. Now that's nice.....
