Nice one Rob the new forum is up and working well here in deepest darkest Cheshire. Looks different but no doubt we will all get used to it. Although I’m on what I hope is a temporary respite from shooting I still pop in occasionally to keep abreast of the gos  Well done.
P.s just noticed my avatar has stopped moving but maybe it’s just me missing the target as usual :p

Yep, looking good on my android too. Appreciate the effort and hard work that must have gone into moving the forum across Rob.

First sight I hated it. After looking round a bit it is growing on me. Some good features. Well done.

Hope it passes the test .

Change is always resisted, but resistance is futile.

As we tried to explain in the email, the old forum was 10 years old, and because it was designed around an internet 10 years ago it meant that it required much more patching to keep secure, but also ran on older server technology which could (will) become obselete. At this moment in time we've got the ability to move, and whilst that is a little painful, and there's quite of bit of work for us to do, it's hoped that a more modern forum software should allow us to do more, better, and faster.

An analogy is, the old forum is an old car, it's running on a fuel that could become harder to get or banned, we need an MOT every year and the service intervals are getting shorter and it's still using a CD player.

The new forum is a almost new car, it's got sat nav and bluetooth, it wont need an MOT for years and the service intervals are way apart. It's 0-60 time is faster and it's handling sharper. I can hook up my iPhone. Just need to work out where the cup holders are hopefully.
