I am now the proud owner of a Walther dominator, with both alutec and hunter stocks and a mec hook and pad. It's got Nick Murphy reg, firing seal and power adjuster with a John Pardoe rail, hard case and toolbox etc.

I'm struggling to decide which stock to put it in as they're both fantastic!

Thanks very much mystery seller for the rifle and going out of your way to meet halfway you are a true gent!

Steve the MK4 will be my hunting rig until Daniel is big enough to wield it :)

Rob the thought of being initiated by Ryan is a bit scary... do I need to polish my wellies? I don't know if I could get Daniel sizing my pellets though, he's already blackmailing me for pocket money over the pellet weighing and he is tougher than Bob Crow around the negotiating table.

Charles I was framed, she told me she was 18 and I think she may have been older

I'll be off out for my rounds this morning then spending the rest of the day getting it set up, should be good fun :D

Could be worse, I was initiated by Pete Dutton, Lee H and Berty!:D;)

Best advice when your setting things up for the first time is once you're happy mark where everything is, as you'll want to change something else along the line and you've got a base setting then. Also take a look at what the other alutec HFT shooters have done as the butt sections are usually the other way round compared to FT as it gets in the way when prone!.;)

Ryan do you know if there is a moderator option? I've got the air stripper/cone on it at the moment but for practice in the garden I'll need to pop a moderator on. I was thinking of popping Neil a PM but was wondering who else had been down that road before I did.

Trying to track down a countersunk M5x20 and M5x30 bolt isn't as easy as you'd think either ;)

I have an inkling Neils put a moderator on a Dommie before!;) Very useful when shooting around live stock!:D:D The Daystate compact one gives enough space between shorter cylinders I've never tried it with a full length one though.

Thanks Ryan I've dropped Neil a PM... the missus exact words were "Put a bloody silencer on that thing"... I can only assume she meant the rifle. The cylinder goes all the way to the end but I may invest in the lighter/shorter one... is Germany the best way to get them?

You have a choice for cylinders:

There are standard steel which you have, medium steel, Junior Aluminium & I used to have a junior Steel, you could also get a custom one made by Mick Tromans.

To purchase a new one ring the Bisley shop or you could try emailing Walther direct

Mick Tromans will make you one in Steel or Titanium to your specified length
