Nice weather for Nelson today, compact course with good disaplines over a nice range,
reducers at mixed ranges and a mix of full range kills.
Unfortunately one full kill was over range so everyone was given it as a hit which is good News for arms dealer as his 55 setting struck 6 edge, mine dropped just inside 6. Well done Armss dealer and my leups for not being fooled by the simmering sun.
Yes, even shot in My shorts today
Good turnout (for wafta) and nice to see some new faces , Thanks to Nelson for Hosting.

    Over range target..

I'll take. Full responsibility for the target that was over range on the course today..

It was measured with a tape after and found to be 56.5 yards..

Apart from that one hiccup I thought the course was spot on for the conditions..

Thanks to everyone who attended and enjoyed the course...

A very good day today and Nelson cracking course with a whipping wind at times. Hottest days shooting of the year, for me at least :D

I'd say wrong mate, either knee on with most of bag forward or knee on the ground and bag supporting shin but not both together.

Have a look at BFTA docs and rules and regulations

You may be right Bri, for some reason I thought it was the ankle that wasn't allowed to be supported?? :(

No ankle can can be supported with shin, ankle mustn't touch the ground though I think, the bag mustn't puff up and support the thigh either. That's the hard bit to keep clear when the bags puff, I've started try try pulling it out to my right as it appears to be less puffy then mate.

Cheers Bri, not much in it then really. How can something so simple cause so much confusion? Lol

It's beyond a joke trying to keep up mate must be the most the most debated subject there is, and now there's another loop hole on the cards lol
