Frayed Knot is on the 25th March 2012. I thought at first it was cunning plan to hold it on a Tuesday the 27th.:D

I do like the look of the SIIIS 10-50x60 but not sure I want to spend £1000 on my first FT scope, I was also thinking of the Bushnell 6500 4.5-30x50 as I have the smaller one on my Airwolf & the glass is quite good.

Jon - Try and have a play with the Bushnell before buying. Some people get on with them and some struggle with ranging above 45 yards.

I would try a big Nikko (Diamond) if you are worried about spending too much or if your heart is set on a Bushnell then the 8-32x40 Elite (not a sidewheel but still excellent and used by a few shooters)

Best advice is try as many as you can before spending cash.
