Been over to Hull (Burton Constable Hall) today to help out Jon & Keith regarding W/L Sunday.

Never been to this venue before and is a far cry / million miles away from the old Hull ground at Roo's, superb car park & facilities on site, catering will be on site, along with toilets & shelter if the weather turns.

Sizable plinking range, pistol & silly's will be a short walk from the car park to the right through a small gate.

The main course heading down to the left is shot into and around a long well established copse, it's challenging and a cracking mix for everyone.

New ground pilchards so give Hull some support, it's going to be a cracker , especially if it's breezy !

Hi & a Big thank you to Tool.

To Tools detriment, we found out today that the post code given covers a massive area, so use the Co-ordinates to the entrance N 53.812359, W0.188270. if you can.

For those of you coming in from the west M62/A63 Take the A1033 ramp To Bridlington/York/Beverley/Alexandra/Dock
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Mt Pleasant/A1033
    Turn right onto Holderness Rd/A165
    Go through 1 roundabout
At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Main Rd/B1238 (Burton Constable Hall is clearly posted from here on brown National Trust style signs)
Continue to follow B1238 this is a left fork in the road sign posted Wyton follow this to Sproatley,
Take the 1st left after the Blue Bell Inn, Pasture lane, this takes you to the Hall I don't think you will miss it :)

It was dead calm today but I bet its not on Sunday :D

    Regards Jon

Next to the last Winter League shoot and I am needing two 90% to beat my last years best 9 score so I am looking forward to this one," I THINK".

Please don't order any extra wind pixies, there's usually enough at your end of the planet.;);)

That looks pretty smart on the google satellite view.

So we're shooting on the grounds of Burton Constable Hall are we? on the satellite view it looks like there's a long field with a thin line of trees at the back - I'm guessing that's where the course is.

    Jon,

Can you get Paul to email me some contact details as I need to email him the score sheets to complete after the shoot on Sunday. We also need to update the NEFTA website.

    Thanks
    Steve

He was certainly planting seeds, but who knows what they will produce :D

The trees are more mature than on the Google map, but what we lack in cover, I hope we make up with the facilities.

I hope you all like it, bear in mind I am a virgin at this course setting lark.

You made a decent job , we / I tweaked a few and gave them a few pointers etc but on the whole it's a good effort IMO !

Someone will moan that's for sure .

Hope weathers ok , snowing like hell on South Bank
