A big thanks to all at Emley who helped organise the shoot today. One of the best courses I have shot in a while with some very tricky wind. Just a shame the rain couldn't hold off until after the second session :(

Nice to see shooters from Scotland, Wales, NWFTA and MFTA giving it a go as well :)

    Dave.

Couldn't agree with dave more, brilliant course with some very tricky wind but enjoyable all the same, just glad we shot 1st squad as the rain came down hard for the second squad, thanks again to Trev and all the lads.

    Cracking mornings shoot

Enjoyed it is an understatement, one of the best shoots I've had the pleasure of doing. Came off with my best score so far (well 15 for me at SFT is a good score), felt even better(apart from missing No.29 ) as the conditions were the worst I've shot in. Company was excellent too, special thanks to Steve Page for the tips ;).

    well done

Thanks to trev and the lads at Emley for all their efforts setting up the course today. Thought John Lees 28 from the morning session was well worthy of a mention for some excellent shooting in really windy conditions. :)

I think NEFTA's top scores were 28 from

    John Lee
    John Costello
    Andy Calpin

Sorry if I have missed anyone out

    Emley today

Well it has to be said it was a 420 mile round trip for the 4 little Welsh lads who popped up. It was worth every penny in fuel. I do like Emley's new ground and it didnt dissapoint.

Some great lanes using the right angles to put people off from shot to shot.

The wind was spot on catching me out on a few which kept people on their toes. I agree with Stve P, it was the right mix of targets etc and fully enjoyable.

Thanks for a great day out...

    Berty and the Welsh crew.....
