Big thank you to all of the folks who helped with the shoot today, including the stats and backroom folks :)

Wind was "interesting" but really enjoyed the course.

Thanks Redfern's for a great shoot today, the unpredictable wind gave me a few headaches! Never been to your grounds before but will definitely make the trip again up the M1. Thanks to Mr Crossland et all for the company in the wood. Hopefully see you all again soon.:p

Sorry I couldn't be there today chaps.. scores are up now.

I'm going to be in New Zealand for the last round, I'll have my lappy with me so I'll probably be able to process the scores and put them up on the web etc from the other side of the planet, but with the 13 hour time difference you might have to wait a while for them to be posted. I also might be a bit drunk :D

We do have a problem in that I won't be able to calculate the final results at the last event so unless someone can step up, giving out trophies might be tricky.

I'm looking for a volunteer who has a laptop running at least Windows 7 and has Excel installed who can bring it to the last event and run the stats program on site.

I've automated all the calculations, so it's literally 2 clicks, but to run the program you'll need to install the .NET framework (just a simple download from t'interweb).

If anyone can take this on, drop me an email : brian.samson@samscript.co.uk

    Cheers
    Bri

Massive pat on the back for the Redfearns team for the course last Sunday. Really, really well thought out course that the wind made a bit saucy. I think John Lee, Roy Ironmonger and Dave Thommo deserve a mention as i heard that they were the main grafters. Very well done chaps.:):)

Thoroughly enjoyed the course yesterday and the little bit of wind spiced it up.

That Lollipop stander really stuffed me though! :eek:o That will be in my nightmares as it stopped me gaining the advantage that I needed for the final placings.:rolleyes:A pallet last year and a lollipop this year!! LOL.:D

Yet again though its a close as it could be for last round of the hunter, and it just shows what a great bunch of shooters we have in the NEFTA league. I did chuckle at Chris C trying to hit the rams on the Sillys!(sorry Chris)
Like it had with all of us, the bloomin wind was blowing him all over the place and pushing the pellets upwards. On the last couple of rams I realised that they were striking half a mil dot high to what they should, but not moving across at all. I dont think Chris could believe it.

I was that knackered I think I fell asleep on the way home for a few minutes. Thanks to the Monniez crew for the company and the lift.

A great day Redfearns. Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course, didn't have a problem with the wind or that nasty standing lolly pop, just seemed to loose the plot with the close reducers.
Thanks to all involved & to Ivan for his company & kind supportive comments.

After the pallet of doom last year and the lollipop of dismay this year i think you're one of the unluckiest buggers over the last few shoots of the NEFTA comps.:). Not over yet though buddy and as John mentioned.....any one of the top 4 can win it. I'm personally aiming for an Emley 1st and 2nd:D

Its just the luck of the draw Chris and we all shoot the same targets.:D

I dont mind too much how it falls this year, as each one of us has done our best and given each other a close run right to the end, which makes for a great competition.
Me and Phil I will do all we can to keep you Emley boys from taking all the cups though.;)

    Lolipop of despair! :lev
