NEFTA HFT RND 6 - Redfearns
Just a quick bump - the last NEFTA HFT round for 2011 is at Redfearns this Sunday
Let's hope we get some good weather !!!!
going to be a good one ,not been a bad little series again this year, so fetch your sqids for the luverly raffle flowers
The sun always shines at Redfearns.
It may be shining on the back of the huge grey cloud that is dropping bucket loads of water on us - but it is shining
Lets hope the weather does pick up for next Sunday, I will be a grumpy tired bear as it is, I am working Saturday night & wont finish till 9 on Sunday then will have to blast down the M62 for the second round.
T WILL BE GRAND SO ,
And thats before you shoot it.
I like "Hotshots" veiw on weather about the sun allways shines even if it is behind a big black cloud but with a wind of 24 any rain that does fall could be from a horizontal direction !!!
Hope the guy,s at redfearns think about that when they set the course !!!
It is never a wise move to set a course out based on weather predictions from a week away. The course will have been started at least a week ago (planning / lanes / etc).
All the course setters can do is put out a challenging course and hope that the weather doesn't play funny buggers
I can confirm that Dave (hotshots) believes in what he says. He turned up today in a pair of shorts and brought the rain with him.
I went to Emley and took it with me
We had a great evening though and didn't get wet at all
Anyway - the shorts I had on started out as trousers - they have gradually shrunk to that length through the rubbish summer
