What clubs have hosted it in the past?

I know it's been at Ponte since I got back into shooting a few years ago, but I remember going in the mid 90s and I have some recollection that it was down the M1 somewhere. The name Codnor sort of rings a bell, and I'm sure where we went was in Chesterfield area but it must have been a different ground to one they have now. The ground had a covered shooting point like Pontefract. I don't think it was LNER where they are now either.

I was shooting my old 77K with Simmons 2-7x32 scope and it was the first time I'd seen scopes with big sidewheels and guns with thermometers. :D

I remember it was bloody hot when I went though! A few shooters complaining of extreme temp shifts in ranging.

    Could have been '93 maybe.

    Hi Adam,
It was a sports club at Staveley;) It was held there for a good few years and then held one year at LNER and then Ponte.

    Regards
    Steve
