    NEFTA Classic 2009 Results

Another fantastic weekend comes to an end. Smiling faces and banter everywhere I looked over both days. Confirmed to me again that this is the best FT comp of the year :)

Thanks to all the organisers, marshals, stats team and Pontefract ARC for holding the shoot again this year.

Well done to Sam Monkman (overall and silhouette champ), Andy Calpin (FT champ), Nick Murphy (springer champ) and all the other shooters who took trophies away with them.

    Roll on next year :)

    Dave.

Obviously I am not happy at coming second but when I have finished sulking about it I will realise what a splendid weekend this years Classic was.

Nice to meet Jesus, coming all the way from spain to compete but I think he was enjoying it, hopefully some our shooters will make a trip to spain one day.

After seeing you stuggling to get all your trophies in the back of the car last year, i'm sure there was an element of relief ;) :D

I just spoke to James W, he said Sam never left the door even slightly ajar and slammed it shut on the second day with another stunning performance. 11 shots out of 160 dropped... awesome.

    (ta for the pics :))
