Need help - talk some sense into me

    Agreed.... so that's why I'm glad it has since sold. Not tempted now :)

    Well then, just to confuse you i bought a very abused MK2 HW77K a couple of years ago, bent cocking lever, barrel was loose, it had been hand painted, was a combination of light surface rust, bare metal and paint... i straightened out the lever, welded the barrel back into position, had it re-blued, tuned and a V-MACH muzzle brake fitted. It shoots like a dream.:)
    If the gun in question is otherwise sound and the price reflects the damaged underlever then i see no reason why it shouldn't be able to be sorted.:)

    Again,

    I bought a 97k for £300, advertised as bent cocking link, but gun was built by his brother who worked at company in Birmingham.
    So took a chance, a pellet in breach caused cocking arm to fail, £14 to replace.
    Looked further, Venom stage 1 internals, Vantage stock, Mach1 brass trigger.
    Brother worked for Webley Venom.
