Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.

I am trying a T50... the new Silver one. It appears to only have about 3 rotations of the turrets. That seems a little small to me.

Is this gearing?, and being 1/8moa will the clicks remain the same??

Can a T50 owner help me please.

Also did you silver model come with black lens protectors or were they Silver?

    Thank you for your help

    Cheers

    Stuart

Wind the turret to the bottom, note the reading on the turret and count the turns up till it stops, both mine are 4 1/4, As I only use one full turn between 8 and 55 yds it's plenty, but I do use adjustable mounts and do the basic zero on those!

Thank you AB. I will do that. I just did not want to force the turrets. I understand some sort of gearing is in place so no need for many turns... cheers

I got it from Spain.... second hand but never used. I have been waiting on the UK suppliers who first told me September although they were not definite... this stretched out to October and I understand it is now probably November before they get stock of the silver one.

    Good luck

My regulator is fine. 244 - 246m/s with JSB Exact. This is actually over the limit for competition, but I do not know how to turn it down.

It is not illegal in terms of overall power (In Spain) but it is a little over the top.

    Regards

    I have 3 friends, 1 with a mk3 and 2 with mk4's.... all of them OK.

I think in the early days of the mk1 there were a few problems, but as in all things on the forums, you only tend to hear the bad things. I think you have made a good choice in the EV2.

    Good luck

    I hope you are right.
And i dont think that only early ev2 have reg problems, few guys say that they buy a new ev2mk4(latest series)and they send it already 3 times back to aa.
I dont want to have that bad luck...

My Mark 1 from October 2004 has the original reg in it. Once I had it set up by a third party who knew his job, it's been fine. :)

Managed 36 ex 40 with it yesterday, and that was with a T50 on top, first outing in my hands. :)

    That's correct 27MOA rings a bell.
It plainly says read the instructions, adjustable mounts or properly made rail will be needed. Fractionally less than BSA/Niko which require even more tilt.

I think the T50 is a keeper for now.
