You’re probably right but at least I’m not in competition with SpaceX to see how far I can launch a rifle barrel...;)
Talking of which have the Guinness book of records been on yet to see if it was a new World record or do you have to launch twice, once with and into the wind for it to count?

    :D

Gonna be really interesting to see how this barrel goes without any plating in it . will it like the same AA 8.4s . will it be accurate . will it get very mucky and need a lot of cleaning , will a pellet actually come out the end of it . will Bazza be the same man afterwards . will colin ever shut up . all these questions and more will be answered SOON ??? HOLLY

I think that barrel needs consigning to the others in Holly’s tomato patch, at least then it gives the old boy a bit more choice as to which to try next in his quest for glory and beating Musk into space with the first orbiting rifle barrel...;)

Tried that barrel on sunday Phil . out to 35 yards OK . past that not so good . when bazza cleaned it out sunday night . it had small bits of silver on it . i said to bazza , that i think if he takes the barrel off and gets a couple of phosphorous bronze brushes and a bottle of Hoppes number nine . and scrubs and scrubs , plus shoots plenty of hard pellets through it . i think it will come good . ??? That's a shame Holly.

Sure I think Chris uses a brush up troublesome steyr barrels to good effect.

    Nothing to lose .
It was pretty nasty inside .
