Does anyone know if a buttpad from an EV2 Mk2 (the one with 2 bars) will fit straight into MPR ?

Ooo yes please, if you don't mind.

I've measured up the EV2 Mk2 as having a 47mm gap between the bars. If you've got some verniers too.. could you double check the diameter of the bars as well please.. I've got the EV2 Mk2 down as 10mm bars.

    Cheers
    Bri

Yes the old style two bar EV2 & MPR is the same as I have used a second hand one from an EV on my MPR in the past. I would 'think' the PT is the same as well, but not 100% on that.

    Cheers chaps - that's ace.

If I can get away with using a 9.5mm bar instead of a 10mm one it makes the manufacture easier / cheaper :)

Cheers - spot on, that's the same as the EV2 Mk2 then.
Do you think it would still work with a 9.5mm bar (cheaper to get hold of 3/8 bar)

    Yeah

Yeah,I've used 9.5 mm stainless tube on my pro target to raise the cheek and I just hd to shave a bit off the clamp, but just doing the but pad would be fine.

    Cheers you're a star

Not sure I understand? Why did you have to shave some off the clamp if the bars smaller?
I might be misunderstanding how they clamp in place?
