Moving Butt Pad in FT

    Can someone tell me if in international competitions the butt pad can be moved or has to stay in the same position from the beginning to the end of the tournament?

    It can be moved in, out, up, down, turned etc as long as it remains attached to the rifle. You cannot add or take bits off the rifle.

    in the worlds it could only be moved under the timer, not in between lanes...

    If I understand correctly it can only be moved during the shooting period is that?

    yes, according to the rules we were under in hungary... in the BFTA rules I think you can do it beforehand, but not sure... and it maybe different elsewhere

    In Portugal nothing can be moved in the gun but we are trying to adjust the rules that s why the question.

    Do you adjust something else?

    no, i mean some rules must mean it's done during the time, some may allow it to be done before clock starts :)

    i think some adjust their hand stops as well... or maybe the depth of fore-end...

    That makes sense since since in 3 positions both adjustments are related.

    yes, there should always be at least 2 adjustments when something is changed on a rifle :)
