Just wondered if anyone else was seeing a trend in their most missed kill sizes at 2012 HFT Competitions ?
I know i am..but wondered what the rest of the crowd think.
Please only post if you shoot to 2012 UKAHFT rules.

    Thanks

    Alex

25mm kills are my new worst enemy:)
But then again most of the other sizes seem to be giving me trouble too.

Of late it's been the 25mm positionals, not really through the difficulty of them but just because I'm lazy and don't pick the rifle up from one month to the next to practice them :D

Mainly the real close ones if they're 20mm- 25mm. I'm crap at range finding between 8 and 13 yard and my aim points have a big difference at that range. I split number 16 at the weekend for that reason.
    Must practice these more.

There is no particular kill size that I miss more than others, it's usually down to the positioning of the target, faceplate size, miss judging the range or getting caught out by the wind.

I think thats why quite a few people struggled on the inch kills at the weekend as some didn't look inch kills & some of the targets looked over 40y until you realised they were inch kills, thats how a course should be set:D

My most hated targets are the standers & kneelers, I can't do the kneelers at the moment & I'm crap at standers

Free Stander - Barely hit the plate, very soft ground on back foot with a wide stance plus I'm crap standing
Castle next to it - gave it left edge of plate & barely hit right edge of plate
Rabbit just inside the wood - Gave it 1.5" left of kill & almost missed the plate on the right
Supported full kill stander - Not sure where I missed as the shot felt perfect, I took all the 1" supp Kneelers standing & got em though.
Punisher target - Under ranged & gave wrong side for wind, barely hit his right eye hole
Last target in the wood - Kill difficult to see, not a clue where I missed
