mk4 battery replacement?

    Hi, it has become obvious I need to replace the battery on my mk4 the original is 8.4 450 mAh type any idea where the best price for one of these is or is there a possible upgrade?

    As above BAR, or Midland Shooting Supplies. Around £30. The larger capacity (850mAh) hexagonal batteries may not fit? They don't offer any practical advantages on a non-FAC rifle IMO.

    I made up a simple connector allowing the use of a standard 9v PP3 battery (see attached).

    It works well as a back up giving 600 consistent shots. You can use the parts from your dieing battery to make one cheaply, you'd only need a 9v snap-on connector from Maplins or the Bay. HTH

    Thanks grate idea on the 9v battery think I will just stick with a straight replacement then.
