    well done Millride

    Thanks Shaun
Well done Daz and Mr Fisher on the top scores [MFTA] and Well done to Mr Evans on the 37.
Thought the course was well laid out with a good mix for all, that wind was well tricky to read.
    Well done all involved

    Easy Money!

Thanks to all at Millride that put on a testing course you had to think about from lane to lane, best milride course I have shot and that has nothing to do with my own personal result, which I have to thank Gilly for

I also have to thank Gilly for free McDonalds on way home and tonights Free Curry, plus he paid for my diesel.

    Your still my Ft Hero

Well, they say if you can shoot at Millride you can shoot anywhere, personally I find it grinds me down to a fine powder and blows me into the switching wind of confusion onto The Field Ov Doom!

That was a great course yesterday, well balanced for the weather and every single target was a "thinker". Just as you'd made your mind up which side you'd see the string switch the other way. Couple of schoolboy errors again but I'll take my score on a day like that. One day I'll actually work out what that high bank at the bottom of the woods does!

A excellent good shoot by Simon today, very well done and he thoroughly deserves a 100%.

... but, has the wizard put some gremlins into the spreadsheet Shaun as he seems to be credited with 102.8% ??

    Tony,

I'm pretty sure that for MFTA WL scoring, the best MFTA shooter will get 100%, hence Simon's 102%.
When the sheet goes in for grading, the sheet will be recalculated so that Simon will be at 100% and everyone else will be proportionally below that.

    Winners

Thanks to Milride members for agreeing to host the round due to Greyhound having to withdraw. Most found it tough going including myself!:(
However, Daz Tommes shot a mega 36 x 40 from the first session which proved to be top out of the early starters..well done Daz.

The best from the bed huggers came from Marc Fisher ( you can't believe how hard that is to write!) again carding a excellent 36 x 40... Well done Fish Face.

However, top scorer of the day came from the travelling Welsh Wizard aka Simon Evans...:eek:o
Simon managed 37 x 40 showing a fine performance on a tough course set by Johnny Harris.
So well done Wizard...( that's even harder to write cause it cost me £50)..

Golden shot winners 1st The Murf 2nd Kev Sayers 3rd Arthur Parsons.

    See you all at Farcoley,

    Sad Gilly..:(

I've had an email from PaddyPower who said he's noticed some unusual betting patterns just before the shoot...

    Not good odds

My ability to put money on a winner is about as good as my ability to hit tin chickens..

Commiserations Andy, Si's looking forward to the next two months.

Cant take the credit I merely advised, kept the gang on track and came up with the layout agreed the other week, its not down to one person we all have a say.
We worked as a team all having an input on every shot laid out then moved on, a method that's worked last 2 1/2 times. Credit has to go to the club as a whole with a fantastic membership of willing bodies who pull together when it counts, something I am proud to be part of.

Happy to be of service, look forward to the future.
