WAS looking forward to this one too but we've bailed out, weather forecast outweighs the 4 hour round trip for the PM sesh!

    Have a good one

Course is out and you wont believe how sheltered it is in the wood.

Don't think it'll sway him, I'm regretting bailing out already but he does have a point, gonna be real nasty that second session

    Full report

I'm sure gillie will give you a full blow by blow account of how the PM session went, especially since he's committed to trying to beat James O in the pm session this season.
And he hates people that try to pick their session , so I'm sure he wouldn't dream of changing.
    Evil lol

He forgot to add "compared to the field..."

We've put 12 lanes in the wood, which is about as many as we can without it getting stupidly cramped, which includes 3 of the 4 discipline lanes, to try and shelter shooters from the worst of the weather.

I think there are only a couple of targets over 50 yards.
If the weather stays similar to today, it will be tough, but hopefully fair.
If we get the 60-70mph gusts in the afternoon that some are forecasting, I don't think it matters what distance the targets are at, the biggest problem will be keeping yourself steady.

We could have put everything out at 20 yards, but I don't think that would be much of a test if the wind is not as bad as forecast.
Damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

    Calm down it only weather

If there is one thing I know for sure ,iits not to bet on weather.
I remember purly chase being avoided due to high winds forecast a few years back, I think 4 people cleared it because it was super calm.
Millride always has a bit of a draft nipping through, so what will be will be.

Wonder what the aim points are for 70 mph!
    Maybe ChairGun can help.
