    Hi Si

I'm sure Mr Brewitt will supply the lists as soon as he gets his lap top up and running (tomorrow, i think). I understand we have 98 shooters booked in over session 1 and 2, so Mark has decided to add a third session.

    Cheers
    Andy

    stop watches

Will we be using stop watches to speed things up?
If so will it be 2 minute's as normal?

The issue of stop watches was discussed at the recent MFTA meeting and it was agreed that there is no intention to use stop watches at Winter League events.

It is the shooters duty to be reasonable in getting the shots off. If queues are formed, Marshalls have a duty to bring it to the attention of the shooters concerned. Marshalls are expected to monitor the flow of the event and to speak to any shooters who are taking too long and ask them to speed up in consideration of others.

Lets not forget we are all there to enjoy ourselves and nobody likes queing so its up to all of us to play are part. There is of course nothing to prevent you using a clock as practice for the bigger events, but that has to be personal preference.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you Val, very well put. We are going to do our best to keep things moving along as we do not want people being held up and the whole event being slowed down.

The chief marshall will be keeping an eye on very slow lanes and on the 2nd and 3rd session the chief marshall is Mr Daniels :D

    Hi all

Sorry for the delay replying to this thread but my computer picked up a virus.

Lanes and shooting partners will be listed on here tonight for sessions 1 & 2.

I can confirm stop watches will not be on the lanes. But marshalls will have them and will use them if gaps begin to appear due to people taking to much time. If we can all keep around 2 mins a lane the shoot will move along smoothly and the following sessions will run to there approx start times.

    Regards

    Mark
