Thanks to Milride for hosting the first round of the MFTA Summer League. A really good turn out today with 56 shooters attending. The course was perfect for the windy conditions, not too long but still challenging. Every target needed respect. The top open field was where it was won or lost. Nick the 'Murf' took top spot carding a score of 36 x 40 with a PCP today. Anything in the thirties was good shooting today. Any feed back is appreciated for the progression of this new league. Drop a line on this thread. See you all in two weeks at Harriers.

    Gilly,:)

Great day and challenging conditions, even for Millride.
Brilliant turnout which should ensure a successful future for this series.
Congratulations to Nick with the amazing winning score.
Nice to see you using a proper rifle, but need to get a scope that can tell the difference between 53 and 55 yds.

OK most people missed it and you hit it, but it was 53yds.

Was that the target that Bobby yanked out of the tree?

My first shoot at Milride, and a very challenging & enjoyable course, thanks to mark and shaun for the company, and telling me when I was shooting at the wrong targets.

    Why 53

I shot that on 55 and it struck just below centre,Phil James shot it on 52 1/2 with heavies both dropped.
So was it a tape or range finder that made it 53?
What I'm trying to say is it was 55 and 52 1/2 both dialed and both dropped, I think the murphinators scope was 100% today at least that what the results say.

Top course today even though I only managed 50%. Thanks to the 2 gorgeous ladies who kept me company, a THORN between two roses. Top shooting from the Murph with a wimps gun. Nice to see a good turn out. Looking forward to the next one.

How anyone at Millride zeroes a gun is beyond me!!!!

Enjoyed the course, not too long but the Field Of Doom had me completely over, gave that 35yd tank 20mm and it came out 40mm to other side!!!! Welcome To Millride, indeed!

Cheers to Carl for the company, amazing shooting from Nick, I seem to have removed a lot of paint at 9 and 3 O'Clock today but one day I'll master it :)

Enjoyed the course but wind at times was crazy. Just as well the targets were not out any further.
