Very scary drive on the way there, as the first picture will testify!

However once there the sun came out and temperatures managed to hit 4-5 above zero, which was nice.

Strong wind to shoot in and caught quite a few people out today. Neil Daniels got the best score of the day and only missed two.

Mark Fisher took the AA grade trophy with Neil close behind.

I put in a score of 25 today which I was chuffed to bits with, and also came home with a couple of trophies to boot! All in all, a good day!

Thanks to everyone for making the MFTA winter league so enjoyable, and making this newbie winter leaguer feel welcome. :shot:

The WL seems over so quickly but at least that means spring is on its way :)

Many thanks to the chaps from Far Coley for today's shoot and to all MFTA shooters for such an enjoyable Winter League series.

Congratulations to Marc Fisher, Marc Asbury, Jim Vickers and Karl Hutchinson. And good luck to the MFTA team in the Frayed Knot and the Inter-regionals. :)

    Special thanks to Tony Cook!

To take home a trophy in the MFTA winter league takes some doing.

Good to see the other photos, love the one taken from in the car, I just concentrated on the driving:eek:

Also big thanks to those involved in setting up the course today (spot on) and as it is the last WL thanks also to everyone involved in the running of our league.

Great day out, the snow was a nice touch, always wanted to shoot in it... was glad to see that rather than the overcast cold drizzle we had when I left this morning.

Course was great, knew it was good when I under winded the first shot by about 4" having given it about 4" on top, and then the shot 10yds shy took an inch. That put a smile on my face that didn't leave for the rest of the course.

Cheers to Chris for partnering, and providing the classic as I counted his misses out to Carl, seven... eight... dink as chris added another, nine then :D

Well done to Mr Fisher for his win, and hats off to Maestro for making the MFTA regional team.

Top day, thanks all. Well worth the miles for all the smiles.
