MFTA FT Winter League Round 3: Harriers
Are we likley to need waterproofs for this. Seem to remember part of the course being exposed and part in woods?
I would say yes! the weather forecast is for showers and the course is likely to be 100 % open to the elements. Hopefully, the sheep the farmer has decided to move into the field will not chew the waterproofs off anyones back!
none in woods 2 very open fishing lakes and a bitch if its windy si
It has to be said I do enjoy the harriers ground.
Im driving the charging Welsh lads upto yourselves for the day. I got to pay off some debts I owe to men who have made some kit for my bew arrival. I wont be forgetting the money this time.
Also looking forward to getting my hands on Sam's baps. Fair play there isnt many places that have such nice rolls to eat and cheap as well...
Looking forward to seeing the lads as well and need to chat to a few lads about ideas I got...
if i remember berty last time you come last year it woz wet and windy
So its berty's fault then
sheep are on the move
I think the sheep are being evacuated just in case someone with a dodgy ev2 misses a target.
But i'm sure we will all leave with a little reminder of their presence[if you don't turn up in camo
,you will leave in camo]
looking forward to doing battle with you all.
I hpoe you are not raising doubts about our welsh cousins, maybe they will bring BAAAbra along to play with the sheep from Harriers.
MR P i'm mearly stateing they have woolly jackets not kevlar jackets.
The jealous types eh
What can be said about you lads trying to play mind games on us Welsh.
Now that some of the lads know you are putting the sheep away they are not sure if they want to go now. I hope your proud of yourselves.
Lets get the facts straught here, when its wet and windy theres nothing like a warm sheep to warm up and cover against. Thats all it is honestly....
Panic not dear berty
They are only moveing them into another field.
I think they will be on the field by the side of the track,no doubt those little hussies will be taunting you has you drive by.
you are a tease arent you haahaa. I remember a couple of years ago having a little shock off the electric fencing at Harriers. I was shooting in the next lane to Doz and we were chatting bout this and that, I remember leaning back and getting a little push, I didnt have a clue the fencing was live haahaa.
As you can imagine Doz was pissing himself at my expense. Luckily where theres no sense theres hardly any feeling haahaa....
Or thick skinned
There is no need for you to get yourself involved into this thread haahaa.
Are you working this weekend then fella???
I Tell you what Berty the banter between us shooting type plonkers is nearly as good as the enjoyment in the shooting if only the rest of the world had the same sense of humour as we do, just think if we were the same as them there would be no time for shooting we would spend all our time sueing each other and being even bigger A** Holes than we are know
I have booked sunday off start the 7 days friday-thursday off for the nelson shoot
I tell you now berty if you turn up in wellies and marry golds i'm not going to be able to keep that cross hair steady.
I enjoy all your welsh antics [sillies, snooker reports and all that] but i think i've just read something that will stay with me forever.
Can't waite for sunday i don't care what i hit or miss just a few moments of your company will make my weekend complete.
see you sunday fella.
You are right Steve
Im a lucky man to say that I love the I am involved in. I can honestly say the banter in FT anf HFT is superb. That is why I enjoy shooting both sides of the sport. I fancy getting more comps involving both FT and HFT together at the same location, such as The Anglo shoot. Would be nice to get all the lads together...
See you there
If you can wait fella, we should be up the ground for bout 9ish. If you havent partnered up then I will take you around the course. Be a good laugh to be fair...
Plus I got the WEEMAN (Gary Powell) going, so make sure you cut the grass down to about 4 inches in height otherwise he will have to take the shots standing haahahaaa.....
