The Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 arrived in the post today. The PX adjustment needs recalibrating to HFT ranges. The front of the scope consistes of a front housing ring with a spacer ring behind. The housing ring allows adjustment but then the spaces has room to jiggle about. The correct way is to adjust the lense retaining ring (the one with the two notches) outward. Question :- Is this ring glued in place ? does it help with a hair dryer to break the glue seal ? ... thanks people ;)

It's very rare to be able to get the locking ring undone, most used to stick a stretched O'ring into the groove & tighten onto it or you can just tape the gap up & stick a Butler Creek over the top
