MAD Results Wed 29th July What an evening !!!! Started dry and very windy ended very wet and very windy, with some softies refusing to complete the course, You know who you are!! I had the pleasure to shoot round with tonight's winner, Gary Chillingworth, who was shooting far better than the rest of us in the conditions. It may have something to do with the new meditation technique he has. It involves repeating the phrase, "I will beat Chris" about ten times before each shot. I dont know what he means, but whoever Chris is, he had better be practicing, because Gary is certainly getting the results. Joking aside, very well shot Gary. Nice as always, to see new members joining the club tonight, and a special mention to visitors from Thorpe Hall. Everyone welcome at MAD. Just a reminder that we will not be shooting next Wed evening but will be at the club as usual, to put the finishing touches to the courses and grounds ready for the Matchplay the following Saturday. Everyone is welcome to come along and lend a hand.
Nice shooting Gary, the only other place you could score a 61 is Sussex! Looks like Jeff got his scope sorted too. Ryan
Cheers bud. I hope that now I am happy with my set up I will stop emabaresing myself at te nationals. Hows your back? Gary
It was a pleasing to see a master at work Well done Mr Chill you shot great but you must shoot faster as the rules say 3 mins not 4 mins before you shoot . What is it all about you and Chris Sutcliffe ,please beware Chris as every time he knocked over a target he said out load ARE YOU WATCHING CHRIS SUTCLIFFE in a little song ,even wanted me to rig the Draw for the MATCHPLAY as he wants to SHAFT you [dont know what that means but he kept saying it all night ] in the first round . That apart it was a good evening loads of wind and heavy rain at the end .
Bless, he even chokes on the spelling. Ian as Security Occifer I should point out that Mr Chilli has previously scored a rather large/lucky 59 (Although on a lesser course) and therfor a handicapp of 7 is in my view a tad generous
Really Takes self off into corner for damn good talking to Nope sorted, it was all a misunderstanding. What happened was last year I shot a Walther, this year I'm shooting a Wolf and the way your shooting I'll take you in the 1st round rather than Chilli, it will be easier.
All depends what gun I use, bring it on Hightower! I might break the LP50 out to give you a chance!!! Ryan
Excuse my ignorance. Can you tell me what the first two numbers (on the scores listed in the first post) mean. I can see that the third number is the total...
Yes I remember the worlds well. That is when I shot a 55 & a 58 (not a 59) and came in 23. I started looking for your scores Chris and managed to get a good dose of RSI, as I had to keep on clicking the mouse to go lower and lower in the table all the way to 119, Thats 96 places below me So I was having a think, Instead of our £20 bet, how about whoever looses by the end of the season has to Marshal the quarry round next year in a dress? Let me know your thoughts Gary
Unlike some I do not do dresses not sure how many more I'm going to be able to do to be honest mate, some dickwad in the company has decided that he likes his boyfriend more than me so as of end Aug I'm redundent NFA I'm going out with a bang at the matchplay though, someone is going to get slaughtered
Sorry to hear that mate, I am sure you wlll find something else soon though. But I will kick your ass at the matchplay Gary
How tall are you chris? I can kick up to about 6' 4" without a jump so if your 6' 6' your safe Also I said I would kick your ass and that only about 4' of the ground
