Well MAD is definitely the place to be when the wind is blowing, with only 4 people scoring above 50.
There wern't many tears, but plenty of confused faces in the carpark afterwards, with everybody agreeing on what a brilliant course it was.
    Roll on Lea Valley.

Thanks to all at MAD, did not have a great day what so ever, did not like the wind one bit. Great course of course! Nice to see you all, and at least it did not rain..... Cant think of another plus point for my day. I have had a very very very BAD day!

Nice to see so many faces at the club and even better to finally shoot without wet proofs on.
I had some good company with Dave allam and Ray hampton and we all had moments of head scratching after quite a few shots but it was good fun.
Well done to Ian for the catering and slightly testing course :D
Well done Daz for being a good sport in the shoot off also well done to Steve and Jenny breaking the 50 mark.
    See you all next week.

Well that wind was worse than anything Quarry has given us, plus points, didn't shoot with Loyd or Simon.

It's taken me years to get over the phychological "shooting at nothing" syndrome when it's windy, and then the poxy pellet goes where i aimed.

What a b*****d of a course today! The wind was mad:D Went back afterwards to shoot the ones missed, very interesting, some 42 to 45 yarders had to be taken at 50yd aim points, 2 guns needing same adjustment! Even paced them out to check! Not good for your head, start to doubt your range finding. Well done to Darren and Darren, nice to see Q back in the game! He defo shoots better when having been on the lash the night before! LV should be a breeze after this one! See you all next weekend.

Steve you will have noticed the Quarry round has moved, I have shot a fair bit at M.A.D and had to give 3 or 4 MilDots at times but Quarry in the wind is something else mate;)

Just wanted to say thank's to the team at MAD, every lane was 28yds of pure terror, well that's what Dop said every range was:eek:That wind was pushing pellets up and down, and then when you thought you had it sussed it goes bloody straight. Roll on LV.

If the scores go much lower Rog it'll soon be a .25 springer with no sights whatsoever!!! Come on mate pull your finger out and get the Steyr ready for the season and ditch that BSA crap. At the end of the day it may of cost you nothing but if it can't hit sod all thats exactly what its worth.....nothing.
S.O.D all the way mate, you knows it makes sense:cool::cool:

    sunday shoot.

Another great coarse set at m.a.d, i hope i have finally rid myself of the springer demons.
Thanks to Jack and John for their company on the day, well done to Darren in the shoot off.
There is something in stella that improves range finding although more testing may need to carried out through out the ukahft shoots.

    Darren.
