Craig and I went along to MAD today and as above it was a fantastic day.
Don't often shoot HFT but we managed to borrow a couple of rigs and enjoyed ourselves.

Ian Bainbrige loaned me his 58 gun but unfortunately with me behind the trigger it was a 40 something.
Dopper loaned Craig his Steyr, can't remember the score, bit less than Richard got.
    Thanks guys.
    Great day
Thanks MAD, see you all soon?
    cheers
    Barry and Craig

ps Craig won a raffle prize as well, sorry!!:D

I hope that one doesn't stick..

    Great company, course and club.

Well done Ollie for sticking with the aiming off, and thanks to Rose for the positive encouragement all the way round.

Lets have some more pegs like 2 & 22 so sort the men from the boys.

    Cheers chaps

It was a good old fashioned traditional HFT course. :):):)

In particular the use of tunnel effect, light and dark areas and one or two awkward positions made the course tricky without being tricksy. ;)

The practice area was a nice touch too.

Well done MAD, super job. :)

Extra special thanks go to whoever put those paving slabs down. Changing my rear passenger-side wheel would have been tricky in the field without them. :D

Oh and thanks to John and Rachel for the delightful company. :)

    Now I ve slept a bit I can do a proper reply:D

First of all on behalf of the UKAHFT would like to thank all the marshals who makes these events run like they do and to Steph for selling the badges all day for us, although all M.A.D members helped to make the day what it was I think a special thanks should go to Ian & Cleve for putting on one hell of a course, and also thanks to everyone who mucked in on the day, if I have left anyone out I apologise.

Although it s one hell of a drive I m looking forward to going back to M.A.D in August for the match play.

Well done to the MAD teams for a solid performance, and well done Sparky on your win and to all the other winners on the day.

    Guys,

Despite being dog tired yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

One of the toughest course I have shot, certainly the best apple and berry pie and great company
to boot. Thanks to Lee and Darren for going round with me.

    See you all at Basingstoke.

It was one of the best and most challenging courses I have ever shot (Dam you Ian), the golf the day before and the nighttime shoot apperently were blinding.

This is a great sport and Maldon encapsulate the best bits of it.

    Well done boys
