99.9 % sure you would never see one in any sort of competition target shooting.

Most people would start with an AA 200/400.

I've always liked the look of them though never shot one but I've heard that many bad reports about them I'd never buy one either.

I'd go for an S200 every time, better barrel which is attached to the block much more securely.

On the solo i had the barrel was very easy to deflect, and it caused zero problems. Solve with a barrel band on the cylinder, but this isn't ideal.

hmmm, ive had a solo for a while. it was ok, not great really. the s200 is a much better gun i feel.

also something else to consider is the bsa scorpion SE. although currently only available in multishot. there is a couple of decent ss adaptors for it.
it has put some very impresssive figures over the chrono. its certainly a genuine competitor to the s400s

its also very light and ambi stocked.

having said that the solo can be picked up really quite cheaply now.

I researched the Solo 3 years back - stay away ! well, at least the early serial numbered ones...as they had problems. Cant recall the issues, but if you spend more time researching, am sure you will come across the gripes. However, perhaps all those problems are now non existent

As some chaps say, I'd rather go with an S200.
