I'm flying out to Spain for the Euskadi Open next month & have purchased a Hardigg Storm im3300 to transport my Pro Target in during the flight over.
A friend of mine gave me a really tough looking padlock, one of those circular one's, but I've just tried it & although the hole provided is the right size, the angle of the curve on the lock bar won't pass all the way through.
Any suggestions for a good lock to do the job? I don't want to have to buy expensive locks to try them for size & the case itself is a bit big to haul around DIY stores asking questions.
Cheers in advance for any advise provided.:)

I was advised to keep away from the combination locks, do you think they'll be alright?

Cheers Chris, I'm going to get a couple of straight shackle locks today if I can but thanks for the offer mate.;)
I accept that they won't deter a committed thief but you have to lock them don't you so I just wondered if there was a type that people who do travel with their guns, tended to use.
