Thanks to Lincs for a great course today, first time I've been to the venue and the amount of work that has been put in was obvious. Could you make the pistol targets a bit bigger please :)

Course was tricky and challenging, just how it should be, heard many positive comments and luckily missed most of the rain, never seen a hunter fill up that quick, if you snooze you lose.

First ever HFT comp. Loved it, great course, great banter;), thanks to my shooting partners learnt a lot today. Perhaps the most important lesson, don't f*#k about with your scope the day before and try something "new" Gave up on the "new" POA's halfway round and decided on full Jedi mode :D. Hopeful of a higher score next time:rolleyes: Cheers all.

Thanks to all those that turned up today, especially those that missed the cut & ended up in the rather damp 2nd session.
A few weeks ago the hedgerow tunnel that we shot in today was a mere jungle but with the aid of a strimmer etc it has turned out to be another useful firing line, resurrecting what was used maybe 10 yrs ago. Shooting up hill from it, was a first for all of us. Its the 1st time we've done 2 targets per lane, sillies or those tiny pistol targets.
Judging by the comments we are getting all seemed to go well. So thanks NEFTA, we have enjoyed the different series/format, see you at the final round at Anston.

Thank you Lincs, loved it!!! Never shot here before and a lot of the open ground shots had me in a panic, just couldn’t read the distance plus no bracketing. Back to school for me on my distance! Pistols, well think I need glasses too.
    Well done lincs.

To the Lincs team I’m so gutted that I could not shoot this year life took a bit of a spin curve and my shooting was the only casualty but my did I miss shooting at your ground and this nefta proved it. Bring on the 3 counties and the banter.

You have always been my Mark for the best course setters in the UK

Well lincs you did it again. Moan, that I did. Crowzilla did me.again. Along with a load of others.
As above. The coarse setters deserve a kicking. Great coarse great venue. Lovely people. Well almost. Nick,Steve,Mark, you were all smiling to much. Always a bad sign.
Has anyone seen the nefta web site everyone suffered at lincs.

I even called the bugger Nick....then shot it like a spoon. I said 'that target fell really slow' when the group in front shot it.

I enjoyed it too Brock, despite not being able to hit a barn door on occasions. More practice required... And thanks for the heads up about this forum - appreciated! Phil.
