LG300 Alutec Cheek riser

    Looking at the circular riser pieces used to boost the height of the cheek piece as seen below:

    They seem to be circular aluminium with 'indents' around the circumference showing where it appears that the sections can come apart - do they do this? Or can you only hacksaw (or better technique) them to shorten?

    They have a threaded hole at the bottom and a matching threaded rod at the top to join more on.

    hi just take them off, 2 bolts under i think theres a grub screw in top of post, and screws back in to fittings on cheek piece. hope its shooting well. dave

    AJP does some simple tubes and bolts made to fit their length. Works a treat.

    I just wanted to halve the length as they are useful, but I couldn't see if the markings indicate screwed-together sections - they don't seem to want to budge.

    they do not come apart its just to jaz them up , talk to ktm on here he made them.dave
