    Hi,

I have been doing FT several years for now and have always used a big nikko
But now I'm thinking to buy me a leupold competition 45x45 ( I get older and want to try something else )
These are available with 2 rectiles, which is according to you the best suitable to to FT the target cross hair or the target dot rectile ?

    Kind regards, guido from Belgium

"Hairy Crosses" mixed with root Veg:confused:, the mind boggles:eek:

I would ask for a mildot version?

Out of yur choices i would go Target dot.

There is a list of reticles available for luep comp's.
Some people opt for the duplex reticle, which come 's in several differant form's.
Before you buy a 45 mag, compare with the 40 mag for field of veiw.
You don't see much else apart from the target with the leup comp's,compared to the nikko's.
You can get a milldot fitted by service@harald-ros.de if you wish.
Think the 45 ranges a bit better than the 40,but finding the target takes time if you are used to a nikko.

Hi Guido, Take a look at this link I had a mildot reticle fitted and the parralax changed to focus down to 10yds.
Took about 6 weeks delivery with no problems.
