    Kibworth Open HFT Results 25/04/09

A rather tricky and unusual course layout left a lot of competitiors scratching their heads,
and several threatening to hang the course setter,

The good news is he's on holiday next month so some sanity may return Kibby
It was great to see so many new faces today, I hope you have not been put of The mower may be fixed for the next one!!!

nice course *cough* good fun though, some real tricky shots, some were a bit dependant on what the wind did so it was a bit of pot luck, had a great time, well done to Chris and Tony, i was reasonably happy with a 47 with a gun i've only shot twice before :D oh and Steve Bagnall, i want to throw you in that lake at kibby :D:D:p:p

    HI ALL :D:D
It was a tricky course today but really enjoyable. First time shot at kibworth and met a fab group of people :):)
The wife was in the lead most of the way but I got the mojo back in the end and " used the FORCE " Got a Gold :D:D:D and the Wife got Silver!!
She is demanding a rematch :(
It was nice to meet so many Shepreth shooters down there, I think we out numbered the locals!!
    See you all again soon

It was good to see so many of the shepreth crew at Kibby today,
Me thinks we will have to have a inter club shoot between us:D Home and away.
Think on todays scores we may have just beaten you:D but don't tell Mark;)
or he will want to shoot and then we have no chance.

The course was hard - foliage in the way of a few targets, a few of partially blocked kill zones - very challenging. Took away a lot of positives from the day.
The course was Kibworths own interpretation of the HFT rules and as such was testing - I pulled one of my lowest scores (39) but there were few high, high scores compared to the numbers shooting.
Nice to see some faces from Kelmarsh and a good welcome from all.
The company made the troubles fade away though - Andy J, Jay and Neil - the banter was FUN Even when Neils battery gave out and had to resort to using my HW (he did better with that!).
Nettles - as Andy J found out - quite disconcerting watching Andy ramming dock leaves down his front..................................

I'd go again though for sure.
