What a day to hold the final round on,
With the wind blowing in all directions and trialing the proposed UKAHFT rule changes it led to some very intresting scores:eek:
With only 10% of the competitiors managing to score 50 or above
Lots of mixed views on the proposed changes so be nice for a few more comments on here.

Great day at kibby today with a tricky wind. Thanks to roger and kyle for the company with lots of banter as normal, at my expense. Loved the new kill zones at different ranges i think it's alot more interesting than the norm.
Thanks to everyone at kibby and see you all soon.

Yep, like the new format, for now............
It'll make you think a bit.
A good day, good company Lloyd and Evan, and a good course, well done Kibby for making the firing line a bit more comfortable.

Agreed ,the new proposed format certainly spice's things up a bit.

Not very forgiving in the wind though.

Anthony didn't seem to have any problems picking out the killzones on the mini kills , he just got caught out like the rest of us with the wind and his scope isn't great.

I think Gregg done a great job with the course today and the new format gives a more varied course layout.

Roll on next year I think it will be tough.

Thanks all for a great day, although I gave out all of the dummies!:D

I think the new format is awesome, especially the longer 15mm's, I'd say it's easier to see a shot up 30 yarder than a 13 yarder. The extra distance on the unsupported kneeler is a great addition. The best bit though is no obscured klls making it a skill test and not a luck test. Personally I'd like to see supported shots go and all disciplines to be unsupported as the support is difficult to make right for all sizes/shapes and make it steady, 6x 15's with 2 standers and 2 kneelers.

Great course (thanks Greg), great company (thanks Chris and Pete) great wind (thanks to he above). Think the rule changes are good. Being relitivly new to the sport I felt the conditions made me miss today not the change of rules. Think it shouldn't effect begginers to much as its only got harder if you are used to the old rules. If that makes sense.

Well that was a rinsing !!! How much fun was that . Thanks for a cracking day , the course was amazing and one of the best I have shot for a good while. That wind was relentless and with the new kill placements made it all the more difficult . Thanks to Barry and Kyle for your company on the course and thanks to Ryan for the dummies!!!! Funny as you like . Looking forward to the next comp now . Thanks to everyone for a great day !!!
