Anyone else had any problems with JSB pellets of late? The last two orders I’ve made have resulted in a significant number of pellets being damaged in the tins. No damage to the outside of the tins. Just wondering if it’s more down to poor quality control.

Come to think of it, the last two purchases have been from the same place. These are going back to be honest, it’s not even if it’s just a few damaged, I’d say at least 30%.

Eeek. Doesn't sound good. I guess if they're not damaged on the outside it's probable the shop had no idea either.

I tend to buy in bulk so get them from abroad at the moment. If you're into 10 tins or more then I can recommend Intershoot. However for a couple I'd suggest seeing if the shop can resolve the issue because the savings/cost on a couple of tins wouldn't be that good. An alternative is your club, do they get them in, some do?

Many thanks, I’m taking this lot back tomorrow morning. Will have a look at Intershoot.
    Cheers

I usually buy 10 or 20 tins at a time. Not enough to go abroad, so I always buy from intershoot. Very rarely have any damaged pellets. I can go through entire tins not throwing a single one out. They bubble wrap the sleeves, then pack those into packing peanuts.

I think the only problem I ever had was some lead balls in a tin (only once). But can't blame the shop for that.

Intershoot can be relatively expensive for just a few tins though. Really need to buy sleeves from them

I buy my JSB’s from Olga Kimla, I have brought loads over the years never once had any damaged tins, excellent service and good price.

I get my pellets from either JS Ramsbottom or Intershoot and had good service from both. Both are usually well wrapped.

It’s his supplier, I’ve had them direct from Intershoot and they are perfect. Ryan gets them direct from CZ, never had an issue. I’ve also had them direct from CZ and they’ve been perfect.

    Beware the middle man.

Conor is correct.....i haven't had a damaged JSB skirt in a decade.

I had 30 boxes delivered recently and the courier (straight from JSB) did a superb job to get them off the truck, down the dirt track at the rear of my house and in front of the garage. there was some minor damage to 2 boxes with 4 tins dented but the pellets were all still good. Whan all is said and done, he did a cracking job of getting just shy of 500kg where he did.
